Shadow Sessions Episode 8

Glastonbury Open Mic continues it’s fine work at The Hawthorns Hotel in Northload street every Tuesday from 8pm. Come on down to have a play, listen or dance the night away.

Glastonbury Open Mic back on the radio!

Well it’s been a long summer of open mic’s at the hawthorns and though we have recorded a lot of them there has been no outlet as GFM has been on hiatus while completing a move to the red brick building from their previous environs at Glastonbury football club. The move is a good one and the future looks bright with all the improvements going on in what is an already impressive structure.

So, coming soon will be an all new series of the shadow sessions where Brad and Al talk you through an hour of the best open mic performances in the area. Stay tuned for an announcement of when the show will be on, both on the FM band and around the world via the GFM website.

Not only is there a back log of open mic performances to get through but there will also be some special shows highlighting recordings done at Priddy Folk Festival and some amazing performances at the 2012 Glastonbury fringe. Maybe even a Glastonbury fringe album.

So coming soon will be some more podcast downloads and some all new shadow sessions episodes. We hope you enjoy them.
